Ranger von Rosrath is a handsome 18 month old German Shepherd. Ranger is already a favorite of many of the volunteers.  He's a medium sized Shepherd, around 22 inches from shoulder to paw.  He knows commands, is unfazed by other dogs and good with people.  And.....wait for it, wait for it:  He has some training as a service dog.  Right now, Ranger is a bit bewildered by the shelter experience but comes out of his shell when he gets to know you.  Ranger's like the tree in "A Charlie Brown Christmas."  He just needs a little love.
